While several semester courses, such as science and religion, will have their final exams on December 16th, many year-long classes will also have large assessments or projects before winter break. Head of Upper School, Michael Letts explains, “ESF would come in and run the aftercare program here. Due to the cancellation of the May Outward Bound trip for the current Freshmen and Sophomores, all Upper School students will be participating in May Term. Alex Gobran ‘23 Eshika Tangri ‘23 One of the most distinctive aspects of Episcopal is the campus’ grounds, with specific portions of the school’s budget being administered to support the high-quality maintenance and appearance of it. From the Campus Green to the different athletic fields, Episcopal and its grounds team dedicate both time and money to take care of the campus’ grounds. Gautam Ketkar ’24 Jack Riley ’24 Colin Schlitt ’24 The Can Drive is an annual EA tradition, from November 11th to 22nd, where the entire student body collects canned goods, along with other essential items. The proceeds are donated to EA’s community partners: SHARE, the Great Valley Food Cupboard, and St. Mary’s Church in Chester. Each form is responsible for bringing in a wide variety of items. EA’s Lower School, Middle School, and Freshmen are in charge of purchasing canned goods. Woolery’s intense speed places him in the mix with the fastest mile and two-mile runners in the country, running a staggering 4 minute and 20 second mile. Founded in April 1888, the student-led Scholium was most likely created to reflect the papers that universities were publishing at the time. There are some obvious differences between the papers of the past and present: before photography, student art colored the pages and the costs of publishing Scholium were covered by an array of advertisements, which could be up to three pages long in each issue and were commonly for for bakeries, photographers, and florists.…
