As it has come to the attention of some of the seniors, many of the underclassmen are unaware of the Thunderdome traditions that take place during Friday night home games. For the benefit of our students, faculty, and team spirit, here is a list of the core chants, which run the Thunderdome:

1. Zombie Nation chant

– Made famous by Penn State, “we are Penn State”

2. Seven Nation army tune

– Chanted in the Thunderdome after most touchdowns

3. Thunder chant

– Made famous by the iconic song “Thunderstruck” by ACDC

4. The call: “Donde está Julio?!” response: “Julio está aquí!!”

– Refers to our kicker #2 Julio del Peon

5. Call: “Hey Marty!” response: “He’s fixing a divot!”

– From Space Jam, Copyrights to the class of 2012

6. 40 acres call and response, again copyrights to the class of 2012.

Call: “My mansion sits on 40 acres.” Response: “Who da neighbors?” Call: “Kobe Bryant from the Lakers.” Response: “Now that’s paper!”

7. Goodbye from Remember the Titans

– “Na na na na! na na na na! hey hey hey! good bye!”

8. Last but not least, “We love (Evan) Butts!”
