Cross Country: The Haverford School’s Cross-Country team is currently 1-4 going into Episcopal/Haverford Day. In their first appearance against Episcopal on September 13th, the Fords fell to the Churchmen 33-24. The September 13th race occurred on Episcopal’s cross country course, which will also be the location for the Episcopal/Haverford Day race.

Football: The Haverford football team has had a strong showing in the league, with a total record of 4-2, and an in-league record of 1-1 that included a decisive 55-0 victory over Germantown Academy. The Fords have yet to play the Churchmen this season.

Golf: Haverford’s golf team has enjoyed success with a 6-1 record in its first year competing in the fall. Against Episcopal on September 19th, Haverford defeated Episcopal 240-259 in a close match. In this match, Haverford’s golfers went 5-0.

Water Polo: The Haverford water polo team has had an up and down season thus far, with a record of 4-5. The Fords beat the Churchmen on their first game on October 4th, with an 18-6 win. For the past two years, the Churchmen have been able to come out on top after the Episcopal/Haverford Day game and both teams will be fighting in the pool for control of this game on November 12th.

Soccer: Haverford’s soccer team has had an impressive season, boasting a record of 12-0-1. In their October 4th game against Episcopal, the Fords won 2-0 in what was described as a closely contested game, with both goals coming in the second half.
